ONE NATION, MANY FAITHS. This
resource, provided by The Interfaith Alliance and endorsed by the Disciples
Center for Public Witness, analyzes and interprets the proper relationships
between religion and politics in an election year, especially in a religiously
diverse nation such as ours. It
also provides helpful information to religious leaders who seek to better
understand and articulate to members of their community how people of faith can
be involved in the political process without either violating the religious
liberty guaranteed by the Constitution or undermining the religious integrity
of houses of worship.

www.nationalcitycc.org/pages/page.asp?page_id=24946
National
City Christian Church is a community of believers in Jesus Christ our Lord
and Savior, called into being by our early leaders as a
unique witness in our nation's Capitol. With humility, joy, and commitment,
National City continues to this day its witness and ministry on behalf of all
members of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
In order more effectively to
carry out its ministries on behalf of the whole church, National City
established the Foundation, a leadership group composed of distinguished and
accomplished Disciples from throughout the church and across the nation. Through its stewardship of the building
and its generosity to cathedral ministries, the Foundation ensures that
Disciples around the world have a church that represents them in the nationÕs
Capitol, welcomes them as members of this National Church, and acknowledges
their important contribution to the continuing ministry and mission of this
unique witness in the nationÕs Capitol.
