DJAN Justice Workshop Offered: At the General Assembly in Charlotte, the Disciples Justice Action Network sponsored a peace vigil where GMP Dick Hamm called upon the Church to "do justice" (see text). Since that time, the leadership of our denomination has stressed that one of the marks of an authentic church is "a passion for justice." To promote this passion and to encourage all Disciples to respond more faithfully to the Gospel's call to justice, DJAN provides a workshop to congregations, regions and ecumenical groups entitled, "Jesus, Justice, and Spirituality: The Bible and Contemporary Economic Issues."
